Meet the Kendall Team Behind Sightline Windows & Doors Kendall

Every window and door we install in Kendall passes through the hands of people who actually live here. Our crew isn’t rotated in from some regional pool. These are the same faces who’ve worked Pinecrest estates, Dadeland condos, and the single-family homes off SW 137th Avenue. What holds us together isn’t a handbook. I started Sightline in 2012 after watching too many homeowners get a verbal “ballpark” that somehow doubled once the crew showed up. Haven Clause 1 was my response: the measurement and the quote are the same document, period. I still review every measured survey before it goes out, and I’ll personally take the call if a Kendall customer wants to walk through their product options. When I’m not on-site, I’m usually testing new glazing samples in my own backyard - my husband thinks the patio looks like a window museum. I keep a photo album of every job we’ve completed since day one. Not for marketing. Because when someone calls back in year three, I want to know exactly what we installed.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been with us eight years, which in this trade means he’s seen every way a Florida installation can go wrong before it does. He’s certified in impact-rated systems from PGT and CGI, and he’s the one we send when a job requires custom geometric cuts or a retrofit into 1980s concrete block with no room to spare. His specialty is reading sightlines in odd-shaped openings - the kind where standard templates don’t apply. Off the clock, he restores vintage motorcycles in a garage near The Falls, which explains why he’s fanatical about torque specs and clean sealant lines.

Elena came to us from commercial glazing, and she still thinks residential crews move too slow for no good reason. He’s been with us five years, and before that he ran dispatch for a fire restoration crew, so he doesn’t panic and he doesn’t make promises he can’t keep. He schedules every appointment, confirms every crew license number, and makes sure the documented photo record gets uploaded before the truck leaves your driveway. He grew up in Richmond Heights and still lives there, which means he knows which Kendall zip codes flood first and which ones get the afternoon sun that warps cheap vinyl.

Javi M., Apprentice

Javi joined us last year after completing the construction program at Miami Dade College. He’s still building his certification hours, but he’s already the crew member we trust with the final walkthrough - the sealant bead inspection, the hardware torque check, the photo documentation. Marcus says he’s got “the eye,” which in our trade means he notices when a reveal is off by an eighth-inch before the homeowner does. He lives with his grandmother near Dadeland and texts her photos from every job site. We’re working on getting him his own impact-rated certification by fall.
